Changing Your CyVerse Password

Goal

In this quickstart guide, you will learn how to change your CyVerse password.

In order to complete this tutorial you will need access to the following services/software

Change Password

  1. Go to the CyVerse User Portal
    • If you do not have a CyVerse account, instructions on how to create an account are here: Create CyVerse Account.
  2. In the right side of the page, click the LOGINbutton, then enter your current password, and click 'Log In'.
  3. In the upper right of the screen, click 'ACCOUNT' and scroll down to the Password section.
  4. Choose a new password and enter it into the New Password and Confirm New Password boxes.
  5. Click the UPDATE button to save and update your password.

Forgot Password

  1. Go to the CyVerse User Portal.
  2. Click the "Forgot Password" link.
  3. Provide your email in the box, and click Submit.
  4. You will receive an email with a link and instructions to reset your password.
